Julius Toldi--Viennese violist, composer, and teacher, who studied with Arnold Schoenberg in Europe. He came to Los Angeles, where he played principally with the 20th-Century Fox scoring orchestra and, in the early 1940's, established a contemporary music series named Music of Today.
